So the haircut went, um, yeah. The lady just kept cutting and cutting my hair! It’s a little bit longer than shoulder length. My bangs are messed up, so I’ve just been clipping them up. I my hair up, though. The bangs look nice and pieces fall down. It’s cute.

School’s been going great still. I still can’t remember every one’s names, though. I remember three from Friday: Isagani, Jenny, and… MAN! I can’t remember anymore. Let me think… Oh yeah. Tristan. This other guy keeps reminding me of his name, but I can’t remember it. Oh well.

Cheerleading is awesome. We had practice on Tuesday and I learned a lot of cheers. There’s another new girl so I’m not alone. We had conditioning on Wednesday which was intense and I could barely walk on Thursday. Yesterday we had practice again and I know most the cheers. The cheers are really actually simple. They’re all the same and really stupid. But whatever, lol. I’m just glad I’m still cheering!

On Friday, one of the cheerleaders got caught piercing people’s belly buttons in the girls bathroom. She’d been doing it for two days with the SAME SAFETY PIN. She had a lighter so burned the tip before piercing. I just don’t get who would actually go to this girl to pierce anything! We don’t know if she’ll get kicked off or not, though, because she only got a 30 minute detention.

Today we went to church. We got there early, which was cool. At sabbath school we learned about Predestination and Free Will. My goodness, that’s confusing!

After church I got some origami paper from Morning Glory to try out some of these floral globes from a library book. I’m working on that as we speak :)

We also went to see Twilight. And I can truthfully say that it was pretty good. I set my expectations way low, and it turned out surprisingly good. I absolutely loved the baseball scene! Jasper was hilarious. His face looked like it was supposed to be distressed, or something, but it was just retarded looking. Everyone in the theater was laughing whenever he showed up.

There’s this part where Edward is reading people’s minds in a restaurant. The camera focuses in on certain people, and he goes “Money, sex, money, sex,” as the camera moves to different people, then you see this scary, dirty looking guy, and he goes “Cat.”

One thing I found sort of funny is that the parts the book is famous for sounded so cheesy. For example “You’re like my own brand of heroine” made me laugh like insane.

Enough of the movie before I spoil it for all of ya’ll. I’m watching SNL and it’s making absolutely no sense to me right now. Something about cars, gas, and lemons. Oh, and billions of dollars are being demanded…

In other news, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz finally gave birth to a son, Bronx Mowgli Wentz on Thursday. I’ve been waiting for this baby since they announced she was pregnant!

Since you’ve been gone!! Or should I say, “Since I’ve been gone”… Anyways!

I started school on Thursday! I love it so far! Everyone’s so nice, and the classes are so short! They’re only 50 minutes long, each! I know, that may not be long for most students, but at MacArthur our classes were an hour and 40 minutes long. Big difference, right?

School starts at 7:55AM and ends at 2:05 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and ends at 1:15 on Wednesdays. Which is totally AWESOME.

We have a 15 minute recess during the day and a very long lunch. During lunch, you can really do anything you want other than go off campus. And the campus is really huge.

I do have to wear a uniform, but it’s a t-shirt. They have girl’s shirts that are skin tight and really cute. I got three of those and two regular t’s because they’re really adorable too! For pants it’s anything that goes to finger tips, but no one follows that rule anyways ;)

I think that the best thing about this school is that they have a cheerleading team. And I’m on it!!! Yep. The old coach had quit, and the new one gave me a note to go to her class. She was giving all the cheerleaders papers on the rules and all, and she PUT ME ON THE TEAM. So I get to be a kitty cat again! We’re the panthers :)

I have friends already, which is awesome. Overall, Hawaii rocks.

Anyways, we got a Wii this week, too. Hehe, that sounds cool. “We got a Wii!” We don’t get to open it until Christmas, though, since we’re in the hotel right now, and don’t get a house until the 17 of December and our stuff comes the day after. And we only have one controller at the moment.

Yesterday we went to church. I like the church here :)) I’m getting a haircut this afternoon from a lady there. I’m just a little scared she’ll cut me some fringe bangs because she hates how my bangs are in my face…

This week we went to the Pearl Harbor museum. It was so sad! I never really knew about Pearl Harbor; it turns out it’s really a harbor! Our car’s being shipped there.

In the house department, they found us a new one. It’s HUGE. We’re moving in on December 17, and I can’t wait!

We went to a welcoming thing at Schofield the other day. A bunch of people came to talk to us, and we learned how to pronounce all the street names and stuff, which is pretty cool.

We also went to the Dole pinapple plantation this week. We had pinapple ice cream and went in their maze. It was the 2001 (I think that was the year…) Guiness world record for the largest maze. It was so confusing! We split up into groups; Chantel, Ashley, and Dad were in one, and me and my mom made up the second. Chantel, Ashley and Dad found all the little stations. Me and Mom just wandered, not finding them. It was fun, though!

We went to the eastern shore yesterday. It was a really calm beach, and absolutely beautiful! We’re going to try and wake up really early tomorrow morning to watch the sunrise out on the beach.

Today were in the car, in a tunnel, stuck in really thick traffic. No cars were moving at all for so long that we all (except for our dad) got out of the car and walked out of the tunnel to see the view. We took so many pictures off the side of the mountain! Someone told us that a tour bus tried to take a U-turn and flipped in the middle of the road. So we were stuck there for a while more.

We visited a Budhist temple. They had millions of koi, literally. We went to the gift shop to buy a little bag of animal food to feed them, but ended up feeding the birds instead. They were regular little birds, and they would jump onto your hand to eat!

After that we went to a botanical garden, which I called “Fake Nature”. It’s a long story, and I got so many bug bites I just about died.

We went to the air force base and I got a micro SD card for my phone. It came with adapters so I can take things from my phone to my computer, and vise versa. I finally have some music on my Chocolate!

Then we found the high school I’m going to next year. It looks nice. The elementary school is right next to it, as in right next to. It’s hard to tell where the high school ends and the elementary school starts. Way far out is the middle school I’m going to go to starting this week, I think. It’s really nice. It looks brand new! I’m actually excited to start school.

On the way back to the hotel, we saw an amazing rainbow. It was so bright, you could actually see each color. We actually drove through one end, right next to the other, and through another rainbow. There were three in the sky at the same time.

I finally finished my 101 in 1001 list, and I posted it yesterday right before church. I have the link in the sidebar. I’m working on a site just for my list, though, and hopefully will finish that soon.

Things have been too crazy. Yes, I’m now in Hawaii; have been since Friday.

The airplanes (yes, airplanes) were very stress-making. Luggage was driving me to insanity, and I kept getting headaches. The first plane took us from BWI to O’Hare, and it was about two hours. I slept through half the flight, which was nice. At O’Hare, my grandparents met up with us to take Emma. She has to be quarantined for 120 days or so, but it’ll do to have her stay with them.

From O’Hare we flew to the Honolulu Airport; a nine hour flight. That sucked. But the played Swing Vote, which was really, really good, and Get Smart, which was OK.

We’re staying at a hotel until they have a house ready for us. We went to see one they offered yesterday, and it was absolutely terrible. I can’t even start to describe. My mom said we could not live there, and the man said that that was the only one available for us. My dad talked to him and someone up at Schofield found a house for us. That one’s a lot better, and they said would be ready in about a week. I don’t know when we’ll actually move in, but I can’t wait!

We’ve been to two beaches so far, one on the South side and one on the North. The South beach was really calm and shallow. The North beach had the biggest waves I’ve ever seen, which isn’t really saying much since the biggest I’ve seen were at Jekyll. But they actually looked like waves! And people were surfing! I was so excited. It was so much fun. Chantel and I kept going out to where it dropped, so we couldn’t touch the ground, and riding the waves back. After a while, though, we all started looking for sea glass. there was a strip of rocks along the ocean, so every time the waves would crash, they would hit our feet and legs. I’m all cut up at the moment, but it was so much fun it was worth it! I kept going back out and riding the waves, but no one would come with me.

We’ve been jetlagging. We’ll go to sleep around 8 or 9, then wake up around 5 or 6. But we’re so busy, I have no idea when I’ll next blog. I’m not really dead, it just may seem like it for a while.

In other news, Florida sucks and Obama won.

Hurry, answer!

So, I’ve decided to blog everyday possible. I got bored with this whole one-blog-per-week habit I’ve gotten into.

As for my next-to-last day of school…

We had an assembly today about this year’s fundraiser. The guy there to talk to us about it looked like the school picked him up off the side of the road. But whatever.

In PE we all went outside. Our class and Mrs. Valentine’s class played softball. After the first inning, they sent some of us inside because we were standing around being cold. Inside, Celina (not me, hehe) made me do a cheer for them. Fun!

I’m making a ‘C’ in Spanish because I’ve missed two tests. I needed to collect grades from all my classes, so yeah. She told me I could take at least the vocabulary part of the test tomorrow, which would bring me up to a ‘B’. It just makes me mad because I have a 100% on everything in her class except for a 110%, a 96%, and those two zeros.

At lunch, I was sitting there, minding my own business for once, just eating my granola bar, when Celina and Kylie ask me, “Left or right?” I get all confused, like what?!? Finally Jacob just goes “Would you rather be a left or right butt cheek?” ?!? Yeah, these people are sort of strange… :)

Math was just about normally insane, hehe.

Other than that, I’m really, very close to getting my right leg split. So I’m working on that real hard, and also exercises for my back handspring, which I still don’t have. But I will, promise!

I guess I’ll talk to ya’ll tomorrow. I gotta go to sleep before my dad goes all psycho on me, :0 lol! Anyways, bye!

I found out something marvelous just now. Inkheart–the movie–is premiering in theaters on…MY BIRTHDAY. Now tell me this is not fate! One of my absolute favorite books in the world is coming to theaters, in movie form (well duh…), on my birthday, January 23. I just saw the trailer and I’m so excited! It can be seen here.

Someone left me a message on my post about Golden Grahams, saying how the movie should be good because of the many amazing actors playing in it. That’s when I got curious and searched it on IMDB, and found out that Andy Serkis is playing Capricorn. I had absolutely no idea who Andy Serkis was, until I clicked his name, and found out that he played Gollum in Lord of the Rings! You see, this is what obsession does to you!

The girl playing Meggie was in both Nanny McPhee and The Prince and Me. And OHMYGOODNESS. Dustfinger is played by the naked guy in A Knight’s Tale!!! Jim Broadbent is playing Fenoglio. He is also in two of my favorite books turned into movies; Harry Potter (as Slughorn in the next film) and The Chronicles of Narnia (ProfessorKirk). The girl playing Lavender Brown in the next HP film is also in this movie; as a nymph. Rafi Gavron is going to be Farid, Dustfinger’s little follower from One Thousand and One Nights. He’s in Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist, which I haven’t watched yet but most definitely will (don’t you just love Michael Cera??) Arya from Eragon’s going to be Resa, and Helen Mirren who’s played Titania from A Midsummer Night’s Dream (which I’ve never watched, but was in the play once) and Morgana from Excalibur (another movie I’ve never watched but I went through a King Arthur stage and read a bunch of books), is going to be Elinor. She also played Hermia from another version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. This guy (Stephen Modell…never heard of him….) has an uncredited role in the new HP film as Feather Wizard, apparently. The guy playing The Shadow was the stunt man for Professor Lupin in his werewolf scenes, which I personally think is awesome. Anyways, my point is, this is going to be one amazing movie.

So, moving on…

I forgot to mention that on Friday, after the dance, Chantel, my dad, and I watched 21 (yeah, check out my awesome grammar :D). It was so confusing, but I loved it! All the codes and all were so…I don’t know, cool! The whole time watching, I was trying to identify the main guy’s accent. He talked sort of weird, but I couldn’t tell how he was talking. Near the end, he said something that made me yell “IT’S BRITISH!” My dad’s like, what? And I explained that he’s British trying to be American. He was all “Nuh-uh”, so I looked it up, and yeah. He’s British!

Last night we all watched You Don’t Mess With The Zohan. It was one of the most stupidest movies I’ve watched in a while, but so hilarious I couldn’t really care. After, my mom, Chantel, and I watched SNL, then a Halloween SNL Special on E!. They had a clip of Adam Sandler on the show a while ago, where he was giving out costume ideas, like “Crazy Pickle Mustache!” and all. He’s just hilarious!

Today I haven’t done much of anything, except handstands outside. Apparently handstands will help you out with you back handspring, so yeah.

This week I got some glasses. Me and Chantel have been needing them for a while now, but we’ve been putting it off. Glasses just really don’t look good on me, and I can (most of the time) see well enough. But since we’re moving, our parents wanted to get them now while we still have insurance. So we got glasses.

That day, me, Chantel, and Ashley all had to get the TB skin test to participate in Hawaii sports. While we were there, they decided to give us the flu shot, too. Oh, and me and Chantel had to get the second part of some shot we took two months ago. Lovely.

Yesterday we got the skin test checked, and we were all negative, thank goodness.

Yesterday was also the Falloween dance at the YS. I don’t know why it’s Falloween, but it is. Just to let you know that it’s not a typo ;D

I was dressed up as a flapper. I think I mentioned my costume a few times. But I’m uploading pictures to Flickr as soon as November starts, since I’ve used up my free space for this month. It was fun! They had a bunch of “Fear Factor” eating contests. Chantel and her friend competed in the last one, where they had to eat this concoction that smelled and looked gross. They were the only two girls in the contest, and the only ones who finished the stuff and didn’t throw up. Chantel had her cup empty first, but she hadn’t swallowed when her friend finished. So her friend won.

We just got back from the football game about thirty minutes ago. It should’ve ended about now or in a couple of minutes, but it started raining. At first it was just a little, then when it got harder our coach told us we could leave. Some people had no parents there, and others just wanted to stay, so the seven or eight of us stayed and cheered our team on until it ended. We were soaked, loud, and laughing. It was fun! I mean, how an you get through a whole football season without cheering at a rainy game? About five cheers and fifteen minutes later, the game ended. We thought the other team forfieted. My dad told us the other team wanted to cancel this game and postpone it. Our team was out there playing and scored a touchdown in the rain. They had scored two time before, so we were winning 21 to nothing :D I don’t know what ended up happening, except that it ended and we had to leave. We took Tori home, then our parents dropped me and my sisters off to fit more people in our car.

Now I’m all warm in some new jeans, my favorite tank top, Abercrombie jacket (that’s actually Chantel’s, but it fits me :)), and my big vest with fur on the hood. I’m happy :D

This week has been really crazy, and we’re moving on Halloween day.

School’s always the same. My favorite class is Geometry, because we’re really insane. I get tickled all day and people tease me, but it’s fun. It’s funny, because it started with Jacob, then soon enough everyone hears how extremely ticklish I am, and they all gang up on me! All the rest of the day is boring and repetitive.

We didn’t have practice on Monday, due to Columbus day. But we did have school. Whatever, we didn’t have to walk home because our parents were off of work.

Tuesday was a Tuesday, and Wednesday was a normally crazy Wednesday. Gymnastics was intense, with fifty million running hurdle roundoffs. Why do things have such big names? They’re all like, “Who can do a running hurdle roundoff??” I’m like, that sounds hard… And it turns out, it’s exactly how I do my normal roundoff. Why confuse things?

We did fifteen minutes of conditioning before starting, which was even more confusing than all those long names. The coaches had us do all these random little exercises that were hard and burned, but I felt good afterwards.

We also worked on handstands, handstand forward rolls, handstands to bridges, and back walkovers. She spotted me doing my backbend, and I can go all the way down right before my hands reach the ground, but then I freak and let go. I can go that far without a spot, but whatever. She thought her spotting me would help. It so totally didn’t. She stepped on my hair! So yeah. She gave up on that for the time being.

Walkovers I almost have on the cheese. I just get stuck in a handstand for a few seconds, and she has to tip me over, lol.

After the first hour, some people leave and the advanced classes stay for thirty more intense minutes. This week we did back walkovers then running hurdle roundoffs down the other side of the floor. By the end, I couldn’t land them anymore, I just flipped and fell. But whatever.

After that thirty minutes, we went home, I had a granola bar, and immediately after we went to cheerleading practice out in the field where we used to practice. Since Homecoming is over, our practice was more relaxed. We learned two new cheers. The second one had tumbling in it, and they wanted to know who could do a roundoff. And obviously, I can. But I couldn’t there. I fell hard my first try. I went like way fast and fell weirdly. The second try sucked. But whatever. I had enough of roundoffs for now, lol.

We did that second new cheer for at least twenty minutes straight, just going on and on without a break. They were working on the building. Michaela’s going to be up in the air in a basket when we yell “BOOM!”, while April and Micheal land their roundoffs and Jasmine, Jadah, and Marissa kick into splits. Yeah, it’s a pretty cool cheer!

On Thursday I had pom again which was cool. I had to get caught up since I was at the pep rally last week instead of there. It was pretty easy, though. They worked on back rolls landing weirdly, and they all wanted to see me try, and I could do it easily, and they’re all like “no fair!” But that was one of the first things I learned in second grade gymnastics, I just had to land not on my feet, hehe.

After, me, Chantel, and our dad watched Jumper. It was cool. I loved Griffin; I could listen to his voice forever!

Friday was relaxing. We had no school that day! That night, we all watched Made Of Honor, which was hilarious!

That reminds me, last Sunday us three watched Prom Night. It was completely random and…I don’t even know. The scariest part was when she was looking in that little hole thing in the hotel room door, so you can see who’s at the door. All of a sudden, the guy shows up, and I screamed. I was getting on Chantel’s nerves with all my random screaming at the not-really-supposed-to-be-scary parts.

Yesterday I had a game to cheer at at 3 in Kinder Park. We won, of course, 15 to 0. It was freezing, so we ran all around the whole field before getting started. And we very quickly learned two cheers, one of which I absolutely love! They were both real simple and easy, but still.

After the game we went to Party City (or one of those stores) to look at Halloween costumes for Chantel and Ashley. Chantel’s going to be a dog, and she got a headband thing with ears and a nose. Ashley is going to be like Indiana Jones, because she looked absolutely adorable in the hat! I got a boa, necklace, and purse for my flapper costume :))

Then we ate at Chipotle, which is always amazing. After we went to watch Beverly Hills Chihuahua. I took me until the previews started to realize that I was actually watching a movie about Chihuahuas. The whole story was really stupid and dragged on, but the dogs were so adorable!

We just sort of roamed the mall after, and I got the new addition to the Inkheart books: Inkdeath. I saw it and I had to have it! The poster outside the chihuahua movie was of the new Inkheart movie, and I was like FINALLY. And then I saw the new book! I’m going to read it on the plane.

Which leads to the whole “moving on Halloween” thing. My dad finally got his orders, and requested for plane tickets on Halloween. We’re leaving early in the morning, and it’ll take 14 hours to get there, not including the two hours we’re in Illinois, but we’ll get there in the afternoon due to the time change.

Since we’ll be on a plane, for Halloween, we’re going to this huge party at the YS. Every one’s going, so it’ll be fun.

I think we’re having a party for my cheerleading team on Saturday after that game, since it’s the last game before playoffs and my last game. I can’t believe it, but I wish we weren’t moving so soon! I mean, our 135lb team is undefeated except for that one Gorc game where they were cheating. But they’re definitely going to championships, and I won’t be here to cheer!

We just finished up my room for getting ready to pack. We had to go through everything and try and throw a bunch of stuff away. It’s going to take two months (yes, months) to get our stuff to Hawaii, and that really sucks. It’ll take a month for our car to get there, so we’ll have to use a rental car. And we’ll have to stay in a hotel until they have a house for us. So we’re moving to a place that doesn’t even have room for us yet, how smart? And on top of all that, we can’t take Bubbles or Blossom. It’s that whole “Hawaii is a rabies free state” thing. No, our dogs don’t have rabies, they just haven’t had all the shots necessary, and it’ll take a few years until they can, because they have to be a year apart. And it’ll cost at least $5000 to have them in quarantine long enough. Yeah, they have to be quarantined. We can take Emma, but not for like 120 days or something. We’re trying to convince our grandparents to let her stay with them for a while, but we don’t know if they will. How wonderful is Hawaii, anyways??

As for the title, Golden Grahams are all I’ve been eating lately. I don’t know why, they’re just very addicting.

And of course I have a new layout up. I made it on…Thursday? Yeah, I think so. Do ya’ll like it? It’s a lot different than anything I’ve had before, so I’m not sure. I think I do, though. It’s cougar colors, just to let ya’ll know ;D

So hot damn, this is my jam, keep me parting ’til the AM.

Wow, this week was exciting! It started out just as normal, with a Monday at school.

School days tend to get a little hazy for me, especially since they’re normally all the same. First block, advisory, second block, third block, lunch, getting poked and tickled and stared at all the way to fourth block.

We practiced like insane this week. Monday at the gym, Tuesday outside (the little girls had the gym :P), Wednesday at the gym in our uniforms for pictures. We added a bunch of stuff to fill in empty spots, and learned them in a day.

Thursday was our pep rally. It was actually a pep rally for all the football and cheerleading teams, so it was a lot of fun! They started with the 70lb team (only a couple of the players are actually 70lbs; it’s the tiny team :D) and their cheerleaders. They would call out the nominees for the Homecoming Princess for that cheerleading team (the whole team was nominated, lol) then draw a name out of a bucket to pick who won. After the princess is picked, the cheer team would do a cheer, then they would call out the nominees for Homecoming Prince, and then draw a name, and the football team would do their little pumped up thing. Micah, Marrissa’s little brother, was prince for the 70lb team. We were all excited and like, “GO MICAH!!”

Five 8th grade cheerleaders were nominated for Homecoming Queen. First Sarah was called, and she runs out there all nervously. Then I was called, and I just about died! I was shaking when I got there, then Nikki, Michelle, and Tori. We were all freaking out, and Michelle randomly goes, “I’ve never seen you up close before!” to the MC. We all started cracking up, and he goes “Well, I’m no Jonas Brother…” then he asks us which Jonas Brother we like the best. Their like, uh…so he changes the question to who our favorite singer is. When it got to me, I’m like, “I like Joe Jonas!” Ok, so he’s not my favorite singer. That’d probably be John Mayer. But really, he mentioned the Jonas Brothers, and I’m not marrying John Mayer! Joe’s my boyfriend, so really! Nikki ended up winning, and she was…um…yeah. Apparently she didn’t want to win so much, lol. Tom won king. It was so much fun! Then they had a bonfire and stuff.

Friday the principal gave us permission to wear our cheerleading uniforms to school. I was so happy! I got to walk around all day in the little blue skirt, hehe. Seminole players would walk up to me randomly and say “Fort Meade sucks!” or “You’re cheering for the wrong team!”. I loved it, though.

My dad had his graduation from DINFOS, so I had to get signed out at 1:20 to go home, change, and leave. The graduation was pretty boring. There were only eight people in the class, so the whole graduation took less than 30 minutes. I had practice, the last practice before homecoming! We learned five eight counts too fill in some empty spots, and I practiced it all night.

This morning I woke up early to do my hair all pretty. I had done it on Thursday for the pep rally, because we had no school for Yom Kippur. It takes me a while, since I have very long, thick hair. But I love to curl it! It stays in until I wash it, too, because of all the hairspray I use! After curling it, I had to put it all up, spray it with this glitter stuff, do my makeup (bunches of glitter), and change. I didn’t have enough time to put on fake eyelashes, but oh well. I wore them for the pep rally, and had so much fun with them! I got them for the pageant originally, but now that I can’t be in it, I decided to try them out, lol. Anyways, we lost the game. The 125lb team was playing, and they aren’t very good…to be nice, hehe. After their game, they gave out Most Spirited and MVP awards. Raven, Kiara, Nyla, and Michelle won from our team :D Then they did the whole Homecoming Queen and Court thing, which was so cute! All the princesses and the queen got a tiara, sash, roses, and this huge ribbon thing. The princes and king got a ribbon thing pinned to their jersey, and they walked down and around the field with their princess/queen. Then we did our dance. We were so nervous! But we did amazing!!!! I messed up twice, but still! We were pumped and singing and dancing like insane!

I just got back from the dance. It was fun, very tiring! We did our dance there, too, for everyone! I think we did a lot better there, in our jeans and all! I didn’t mess up that time, and I was grateful. I was so excited when they played Cotton Eyed Joe. It was so funny. In the car, right before we got there, I was like, I bet they won’t play Cotton Eyed Joe. And then, all of a sudden, I hear it, and I freak! I started doing the dance, and everyone looks at me like, ?!?. They all tried to learn it, but it didn’t work out too well. But it was fun! I’m uploading pictures right now, here’s my favorite:

That’s me and Micah after the dance :D I just had to have a picture with a football player! Now I have one with a prince, too!

I guess I should explain the random song at the beginning. All through the game, I knew only a couple of songs. That was one of them. I watched that music video way too many times on FNMTV, that it sort of stuck in my head, and I started singing it all the time. So sad, ain’t it? Hehe.

I’ve been meaning to blog since Tuesday, literally. We had the day of for Rosh Hashanah, and I told myself I would blog, but I didn’t. Of course.

So, since I can’t seem to remember my dreadful Monday, I’ll start this off with our day off. Me and my sisters walked over to the PX, and I got royal blue nail polish, clear nail polish, and royal blue eyeliner. I wanted to be very FMC-ish, lol. Very spirited! My sisters were annoying to absolute death, so I was just trying to concentrate on how excited I was for my new makeup. So we went to get some pizza, and we were standing in line, when I dropped the bag with all my makeup. And the nail polish bottle broke. And blue went everywhere. A waste of $3. Yes, it all cost only $3. But still!

We had practice that day because Monday there was a homecoming committee meeting. And we definitely needed the practice.

Wednesday was Wednesday. We had practice at Manor View, the elementary school. The weather was dreadful, so yeah. Thursday was our day off of practice, and Friday we had another practice at Manor View. We learned and memorized yet another part of the Breaking Dishes dance for Saturday, which is Homecoming.

Yesterday we had a 12:30 game cheering for the 125lb team, which was fun. It was a home game and we played the Apaches, who actually had cheerleaders who came. Their uniforms were white Tshirts that said “Apaches Cheerleading” and black shorts. So yeah, we were awesome, and they were just down right rude. They would start cheers while we were in the middle of ours, and during halftime and the cheer off, they did their cheers, and then started to leave before we did our cheers. Their coach had them come back, and they sat down in a tight little huddle like we were rabid dogs or something. While we’re doing our cheers their rolling their eyes, and they just get up and leave as soon as they can. See, we have manners. We did this whole “good luck” cheer before they went, and a “we are proud of you” cheer after.

After the game I had to stay for my sisters’ game. I had a headache, and there was just too much sun. When we went my dad had his whole graduation party there that he had been cleaning for all morning. I was supposed to clean my room Friday but I fell asleep at 7. Yeah, wayyy early. I was very tired. So I had to clean that Saturday morning before the game.

The party was…well, I don’t know. I was upstairs the whole time. Army men with food and Korean shots, not really my kind of party, lol. My mom bought 25lbs of galbi (or is it kalbi?? I don’t know, I can’t even pronounce it right :D) and they grilled it. It’s Korean ribs that everyoneloves. We had a bunch of other Korean food and ChocoPies for dessert.

Me and my mom and sisters watched SNL which was, as always, hilarious. Tina Fey looks just likeSarah Palin! Hehe…

Today I did some homework and watched hair tutorials all day. Yep. I’m looking for a new haircut, and I want it to be more Korean-ish. I turns out, my hair is already very Korean-ish. The whole style is bangs. Either very straight hair with bangs, and wavy hair with bangs. Who knew I was so in touch with my culture??

I found a tutorial on curling your hair with a straightening iron, which was fun, and very time consuming. We just watched the Sex and the City movie, which was funny. “I curse the day you were born!” Hehe, I can’t get over that. Now I have to go to sleep and wake up for school tomorrow. Ooh, but we have Thursday off for Yom Kippur. Yes, we have the day off for both Rosh Hashanah and Kippur…yay us!

Homework. Gotta do homework. Remind me, ya’ll…

I haven’t blogged in too long! So, the game at GORC was so much fun! It was the first time we cheered when there were other cheerleaders. They were rude, but it was fun. They did a bunch of the same cheers as us, and when they did, we would do our version LOUDER and BETTER. Hehe, we’re so awesome! They were talking about us, though, calling us whores and all. Whatever. At halftime we did our competition cheer, with the stunts and all. The other team did a normal chant, and the coach’s excuse was “A lot of our cheerleaders aren’t here, and we didn’t have time to rearrange everything.” Translation: “Yeah, we suck. At least ya’ll aren’t going to competition this year.”, lol. I know, I’m nice. After the whole cheer off thing, they wanted to tumble, and they’re all like, “Do you all want to tumble with us?” Translation: “Bet ya’ll can’t do this!” They get out into the middle of the field and start with their standing back handsprings and standing back tucks. Which, just to let ya’ll know, didn’t look really good because they were standing. Sorry, it’s the truth. Then we’re like, “Do ya’ll wanna play football?” Translation: “Oh yeah? Well bet ya’ll can’t do this!” They look at each other like we’re insane and go, “We don’t know how to play football!” Translation: “WTH is wrong with these cheerleaders?!?” So yeah.

After the game me, April, Tori and Traditia all went to Shania’s house. From there we all went to the carnival, which was awesome. After, we all stayed the night at Shania’s, and stayed up until 4 in the morning. We watched five minutes of the first Nightmare on Elm Street, thirty minutes of the second one, and all but they very very end of the third. That movie is insane.

Anyways, this week has been ok. People here think I’m insane. I (accidently) made everyone think Tanner moved here from a zoo, it takes me a while to understand things, and I threw a pencil at Jacob. Ok, so I tried.

Explaining: Tanner said he moved here from South Carolina, and I asked where. He said Columbia, and I was like, “That’s where the zoo is!” And it is! We went there on the TAG trip in third grade on the way to Charleston.

Yeah, I guess that me not getting things quickly is pretty self explainitory.

And I’m not really insane! Jacob was tickling me from behind my chair, and everytime I turned around he’d move, and yes, I was way too lazy to stand up, so I say “I’m gonna throw my pencil at you!” and I threw it over my shoulder. And I miss. By a mile. Really.

On Friday we decided to ask Mrs. Fach (Geometry teacher) a bunch of random questions. It was hilarious! Thursday she went on and on about stuff, long story. Anyways, yeah. Asking questions is fun! We drove her absolutely up the wall.

Yesterday all the games were cancelled because of the insane weather. The rain would come and go, but in cats and dogs. Wow.

Today we had our bakesale, and it was so much fun! We made over $500! Last night I was up until 3AM making a sign for it. But everyone loved it, and it was the only one. And it was fun! We were out in front of the PX doing cheers and all, having people donate. Chantel and Ashley made the most money. They were the itty bitty little adorable little cheerleaders. *Cough, cough*.

Me and my mom had to leave at 11 for the Korean golf tournament. It was a bunch of old Korean people playing golf all day. It was so weird. They had a keg and three big ice boxes of beer. And all them elders were drinking it all. SO WEIRD, hehe.

I had to play like four holes. We left after that, lol. It was ok, I guess. It kept raining then stopping. So the course was insanely wet. I guess I played alright. For the first holes, anyways. It was just too wet! After, they had galbi which was amazing, so I was happy.

Oh yeah! In gymnastics, I’m now in level 3 for competitions and all. Still working on that back handspring and all, though. But guess what! I can touh my nose to my right knee! I can only in my left knee half the time. And I’ve almost got my backbend.

My week’s gone by just as usual. School, home, someone’s cheerleading practice, gymnastics and pom, sleep. Except on Tuesday, we gained an interesting piece of information. We’re moving to Hawaii in late October. No, I’m not kidding. Not at all. Metro Oahu, to be exact. Apparently a space opened up at Fort Shafter randomly, and my dad just happened to get it!

So, I’m moving to Hawaii in about a month. Ain’t that exciting?? I’ll have so much to blog about!

Everything else went about normally. I’m bored at school, but it’s not bad, exactly. It’s been bearable enough, considering. Mrs. Nedab is still driving me insane, but there’s nothing to be done about that. Her clothes drive me even more insane, but that’s definately not going to change.

What else? Cheerleading’s been going great. Nikki came to our practice on Wednesday to help fix our dance. I guess she had the day off from her internship. So our dance looks a lot better, but still all over the place. We’re working on it…

Today we had practice at Transformations. It’s this fitness center for women. It was awesome! My mom got home from work at 6:30, when our class started. Then we couldn’t find the place, but we got there in one piece! We were maybe fifteen minutes late, but it was fine. We got there when they were finishing the step workout when we got there, so we started with the cool down and then weight lifting. It was all to different songs, and all rhythmic and all. It was so coooooool! Even though it hurt. A lot. Then we did balancing excersises, worked our abs, and a LOT more. With the weight lifting we worked our chest, shoulders, biceps, and triceps. Now it hurtst to lift my arms at all, but I feel strong.

After the workout we lined up and did our new Spirit cheer for the people there. Shania tried to get her mom (our coach) to take me, her, Tori, and Danielle to the Oktoberfest carnival on base. She said she’d take us tomorrow after the game, and I can’t wait!

So I was in a very good mood since that awesome workout, but now my sisters are making me mad. Just like they love to!

Tomorrow I have to go to Chantel’s and Ashley’s game at 9:30AM, then my game’s at 4. Now I’m going to go make cupcakes for after the game. See ya! I’ll try and blog tomorrow, too.

That’s how long I was outside yesterday in my cheerleading uniform. Half a day, 12 hours, 720 minutes, 43200 seconds. However you wanna say it, it’s a long time. Especially in the hot sun with insane humidity.

Yesterday was our fundraiser, you see, and we had to sell concessions. I think me, Shania, Traditia, and Shorty were the only cheerleaders who actually stayed the whole time.

For ten minutes in the morning, around 8:30, the weather was nice. We were just opening, getting everything set up, and there were so many wasps everywhere! It was insane! Michelle’s mom ended up going to get this homemade bug spray that like intoxicated the bugs, and it worked like instantly! It was insane. She wouldn’t tell us what was in it, though. Lol.

We didn’t have real good business, and it was extremely hot in that shack. Me, Shania and Jasmine were working the shack, while the rest of them there were advertising for us. It was fun, just too hot. And slow.

At one point the adults gave us a break and told us to go to the Family Fun Day that was going on right near, to advertise. We got into the moon bounce first, though! When we got out, Shorty started yelling out cheers made up on the spot about “hotdogs and cheeseburgers for sale!!” Yeah, lol.

We played football with some football players, too. It was them against us cheerleaders. Fun! We recruited one as a cheerleader, he said he’d rather be wearing our uniforms.

We had to cheer at two games consecutively at 4 and 6. First the 125 lbs game. We weren’t too enthusastic for that game, it was a bunch of 6th graders I think. We won, though! The second game was for 135 lbs. That was our 8th graders, so yeah. Someone said we should make up a cheer for each player, and we started going “Let’s go, Joe let’s go! Blue– and gold!” It’s one of the cheers we do for halftime, except with “Cougars”, not “Joe”. Someone else mentioned that there was nothing to rhyme with Walkee, one of the most popular players, I guess. Jadah, his girlfriend, goes “Yeah there is! Talkie!!” We were all laughing at Walkee the whole time. He jumped at the ball, and missed it by at least five feet, and he flew through the air like superman! It was pretty hilarious.

At this game there was a lot of yelling. I only know four people on the team, though. I think. I can’t really tell through the helmet and all. There’s Kyle, Tom, Daniel (the “cheerleader” from before, lol), and Walkee. Kyle kept having to come and talk to the coach, who was right in front of me and Danielle, and she whispers “Kyle!” and he looks up and rolls his eyes at us. But he kept having to go back and forth, so everyone’s yelling “GO KYLE!!!” the whole time. Oh yeah. Apparently a bunch of people knew this guy, Kendall, on the other team. So they keep cheering for him, and we’re like, “HE’S ON THE OTHER TEAM!” Goodness.

We, of course, won that game too.

After, we went out for chinese. Then me and my mom got icecream at Baskin Robbins. During the day, I drank six bottles of water, a bottled frappuccino (they were selling them, lol), and I ate fries and a hamburger. Shania was blaming me all day for her sudden addiction to the frappuccinos. People would say “You’re drinking coffee?!?” and she’d answer “Celina’s fault, she influenced me!”. Yeah, how nice am I? I don’t know how many of them that girl drank, but wow, lol. I just had one, ok? And it was so early in the morning, I needed something. And since my dad has something against Starbucks… lol. He says it’s bad, overpriced coffee. Whatever. A lot better than Dunkin Donuts, if you ask me. But Burger King’s iced coffee is real good… Anyways! About the hambuger, no I don’t like them, except for at Mt. Olivet, our church in Georgia. It’s because I have personally known the people in the kitchen for years and years, and they make extremely good burgers. Here, Coach Chris was making them, and I watched her make them, so they’re fine, and they smelled so good! She brought this huge grill from home and cooked them, and I’ll eat them like that.

Now I’m doing some advertising for an HC friend. I’ve been on Myspace a little lately, and today I went through to see what all my friends have been up to. I saw that Brandon had a new music page, so I clicked on the link, and listened to the two songs he has up. Apparently he’s singing Christian Rap now, and it’s awesome! Click here for the page, and listen! I really do love it!

And what’s been happening during the school week, you ask? Nothing, nothing at all. Everything’s just as boring as ever, and I still hate it. I can’t remember anything worth mentioning, except the fact that I am now rocker chick, according to a guy I don’t even know.

Oh yeah, and I added that vector thing to my portfolio. I’m not sure if it even goes there, but I liked it so I decided to stick it somewhere. And I edited this image of myself I took on my webcam a couple months ago, and it now looks like this on my profile. Before, it was of me on my couch at home, now I’m at the beach! I messed around with colors and lightings and stuff on Photoshop, and yeah.

Yesterday I had a sore throat, and today it just feels weird, like it’s almost gone, but it’s not. Oh, and Go Dawgs! Georgia one yesterday against SC. Dad kept saying SC was going to win, and I said nuh-uh, and when we got home and checked, I was soooo right! Ahahaha!

Started as a flicker meant to be a flame
Skin has gotten thicker but it burns the same
–Sara Bareilles in Bottle It Up

So, I’ve been tagged by Kaytlin. Here’s five facts, pick which one is a lie.

I don’t eat chicken.

I hate the color yellow.

Sweeney Todd is one of my favorite moves.

I am a part time Neopets addict.

I love to play Mario Smash Bros on our Game Cube.

I tag whoever feels like being tagged. There.

Moving on. It took me so long to finally post again, I know! I’m so sorry, I’ve just been busy. I’ve used that line too many times, yeah, but it’s the truth!

This past week I started gymnastics and pom. I’m the oldest in both classes. It’s so strange, but oh well. According to the teacher, I’ll be doing a back handspring in a couple months, because I can do a back bend with a spot, and a round off. We’re going to start working on it this week, so I’m excited!

In pom we worked on dance, mostly. Sort of like ballet. It was fun, though! There’s six of us in that class, and they’re all sixth and seventh graders.

Cheerleading has been the same, except I was moved up front for our game lines, right next to the middle. I’m very excited for that, but I have to learn a lot of the cheers again, this time with different motions. But it’s working out really well!

All our games for yesterday were cancelled because of Hannah. We were talking about it at practice, and someone yells, “Hannah Montana’s coming?!?!”, so we’ve been calling it hurricane Hannah Montana. But it was barely even rain! I was so upset. Oh well, I guess.

I had a meeting with Ms. Bobbi yesterday about the pageant. We’re going shopping in two weeks for everything, and she told us all about the weekend. She also tried to teach me the swimsuit walk, but it didn’t work out so well because her leg is hurt. I have to “walk with a lively step!”, whatever that means. My shoes can’t be higher than 2.5 inches, and has to be skin color. For everything else, however, my heels are going to be 4 inches. Fun!

We also worked on interview questions, which failed horribly. I think I only really answered four questions. Oh well. I know I’ll do well talking to the judges, since it’ll just be like talking to strangers who really don’t give a crap about my answer after they write down a score. It’s always been like that for me. If you ask me to practice a speech in front of people I know, I can’t. I always do something wrong. But when I’m doing it in front of judges, I nail it. I can talk all I want to people I’ll really never see again, but when it’s in front of people I see all the time, I freeze up. So strange, I know.

Today we went out to some fort next to Arlington. We went to the Marine Corps Exchange, and my little sister kept insisting Corps was pronounced like Corpse. Anyways, it was awesome! It was like a Belk or Macy’s, on base! They had everything there. Sooo many Vera Bradleys, I thought I’d die! They had a whole luggage set of my favorite print of the moment, called Yellow Bird. We probably spent the most time in the bags. They had the Dooney I want, too. It’s one of those patent leather ones. And the Burberry! Ahh! There were like three trench coats I absolutely loved, and they were $600 each. With the discount! Chantel kept saying I was going to be a detective, lol. There was this Burberry hat that was adorable, and I said I would wear it for golf. We spent so much time in the Exchange, and came out with nothing. I’m so proud of us!

We ate at Chipotle, yet again. Wow, I feel like I write that every time I blog! But it’s just so good! And I was absolutely starving, having eaten nothing except an Oreo without the cream. Oh, that reminds me…

Who invented Oreos?!? Whoever it is, I could just…AHH!!! I love him/her! I’ve been addicted to them, lately. don’t like the cream inside them most of the time, though, so I peel it off and throw it away. How amazing is it that the cream just comes off?!?

After Chipotle, we went to the mall to find some cheerleading shoes. I got the cutest pair! I can’t wait for our games on Saturday! Hopefully Ike will be gone by then…

Now I’ve got to go to sleep so I can get up tomorrow and endure another boring, hopeless day of school. Sigh. I have Tech Ed., which I’m not liking too much at the moment. Grr…if only I could have art every day!

Oh yeah, and I have some interview questions for ya’ll:

Name two of your strongest and two of your weakest points.
If you were a hamburger topping, which would you be, and why?
If a house for troubled kids was built in your neighborhood, how would you feel?
Do you think TV shows and movies have an impact on the way children and teens act?

Take all my prized possessions
Leave only what I need
Take all my pieces of doubt
And let me be what’s underneath.

The quote from my last post was from Wuthering Heights.

Yesterday we went to the mall. There was a key-making booth, so we finally had keys made for me and my sisters. Chantel got one with a puppy that looks like ours, Ashley got one with a huskey puppy, and I got a UGA one, lol. I say dawgs beat puppies!!

Then we went to Aeropostale for some more uniform shirts. Other than that we just wandered, then ate at Chipotle.

I had cheerleading practice, even though it was Labor Day. Twelve out of 27 of us showed up, and it was a lot more relaxed, lol. We went over cheers, and learned a new one.

Today I had school, and it was just as boring as ever. I won’t be boring you with the details, don’t worry! Math is the most non-boring without being fun…if that makes sense… Anyways, I sit with Tanner and Madison, and they’re insane. We have all these inside jokes that drive everyone else insane. Today they had me say “Mooo!!!” so I could be in the “Moo Club” with them. It sounds like a birthday club for Chickfila!

Now I have a bit of a dilema. In five minutes, both The Secret Life of the American Teenager and the new 90210 are starting. I’ve been waiting for 90210 forever, but I’m stuck on The Secret Life! I think I’ll watch The Secret Life now, and watch 90210 online later. I think they have the episodes on the CW website, don’t they? I’m pretty sure.

I love my murderer–but yours! How can I?

Now, that’s not from a song, today I have a quote. It’s from a book. I found it written down in a notebook I had sitting around, and remembered writing it down while I was reading this book. The last two lyrics were from the song “No Such Thing” by John Mayer. I’ve been in love with that song since school started, with the teachers supposedly getting us ready for the “real world”.

Last night we went out to Chipotle to eat, and (as always) it was amazing. After we went to the FedEx Kinkos store to buy legal sized paper, and as we were walking out, we saw some big binders. I need a 3″ three ring binder for Language Arts, so we went back in. It turns out those big ones were 2″ binders, and the 3″ ones are absolutely HUGE. We bought one and some white out tape stuff that I needed, too.

When we got home I watched the new Greek episode from last week, since I didn’t get to. It just bugs me that Kappy’s with Rebecca and not Casey, you know?!?

We went Good Will hunting again today, and bought two gorgeous gowns. One is a velvet, navy one that fits perfectly, and the other is a red, strappless gown that’s just the tiniest bit too big. The navy one is more sleek, and it twirls at the bottom. The red one is full and more princess-like. I think I’m going to wear the red one for the pageant, and I can’t wait!

Me, my parents, and my sisters all went for a long walk not too long ago. More than a mile long. It was fun, though.

Now I’m working on a new project, writing an essay I need to finish for Language Arts, and watching Sound of Music. It’s playing on ABC Family, and when I switched the channel to watch it, Captain Von Trapp was singing Edelweiss. I memorized the lyrics to all the songs, so I’m stopping every once in a while, to sing. I just love this movie so much!

edit// I’m done with the project, it’s a new review site, located here! Apply, if you like. //edit

From the same song as yesterday.

I’ve been awake since 9:40 this morning, and outside in the heat since 11. I’m back now, of course, but I’m also red. Very, very red.

Today was our first games. Chantel and Ashley insisted we get there before 11 just incase their game was at 11. It wasn’t. It was at 12.

When we got there the little kids, probably about 7 or 8, I think, were playing football. They were loosing, apparently, because the coaches were mad and yelling at them. How can you yell at the adorable little, tiny football players?!? They can’t tackle, but still!

The field they play on had no score boards. It’s really pathetic. There’s a couple of bleachers, and that’s about it.

When the game I was cheering for finally rolled around, we went out there and yelled our throats out. Our team won 20-something to 0. During half time we took a victory lap, lol.

I forgot to put on sunblock, which is why I’m so red. It was fun, though.

I just took a shower, and now I’m sitting here, blogging. Yeah. So hot, my arms and shoulders burn, and it’s too quiet…

They love to tell you, stay inside the lines.
Well some things are better on the other side.

Last lyrics were from the song Mother, Mother by The Veronicas.

Wow, I’m finally blogging. Been too busy, that’s all.

Tuesday was the first day of school. Very boring. Extremely boring. I mean, I have no real friends that I can actually talk to, so I’m just walking around like a ghost. Not talking, staring straight ahead.

After school I had to walk my sisters to their practice. Yeah, we got lost. Ok, I got us lost. So there was this trail that looked so enchanting, and I had to go down it. So I did. And my sisters followed.

The lesson of this little mini story is: DON’T GO DOWN RANDOM TRAILS. It will get you lost. Especially when your parents or someone tells you where exactly to go.

We got to practice safely, though, eventually.

Wednesday I had practice. It was rainy, but all the better, you know? Monday was all hot and humid, so it was a nice change. We learned the rest of the dance we’d been working on for Homecoming.

After practice we went on a sorta mini-dress-shopping trip. We didn’t have much time since it was a school night, so didn’t have time to find an actual dress shop. We stopped by the nearest Good Will and I tried on every gown we could find. We actually ended up buying a Jessica McClintlock gown. So, it’s like 6 or 7 sizes too big, but my mom’s gonna fix it. I’m probably not going to wear it for the pageant, because we’re not sure if it’s a good color for me, but we had to get it. I mean, it was from GoodWill! It would be a shame not to get a gorgeous dress! We’re trying to find a reason to wear it…

Yesterday Chantel and Ashley’s practice was cancelled. Today mine was, too.

I guess I can’t avoid the subject of school forever, so here it goes.

I have Mrs. Roberson for Advanced LA. She was my advisory teacher last year; the one who dropped out of highschool and has a record. Yeah, she went to juvie. But her class is tolerable. We’re gonna write a lot, so I’ll be fine there. She’s also my homeroom. Every other day I go to Spanish I after morning announcements so I only have half a year of Language. I think I get another highschool credit for Spanish, too, so that’s nice.

Now this is where it gets sort of stupid. They have this extra forty five minutes or so and they stick it right after first block for advisory. What is advisory? We sit. Every week we have two or three DEAR days. DEAR stands for Drop Everything And Read. Yeah, we sit and read for those extra minutes they have nothing to do with.

After that I have my encore class, it rotates between art, PE, and tech ed. Art’s cool, I had it last year, too. We’re working on a graffitti project; we have to write our names in graffitti form on our portfolios. I hate PE, as always, and tech ed. will be…scary… Our advisory teacher used “cutting our finger off in tech ed.” as an example to why we need to fill out some forms.

Science is the worst. The teacher is mean. I mean, Mrs. Roberson is strict, but Mrs. Nedab is unreasonable. She scares every last one of us in that class! The first thing that came out of her mouth was a lecture about how she said “Good afternoon” to every single person as they came into the room, and no one said “Good afternoon” back. First, she wasn’t at the door when I came in. Second, it was the first day of school. Who’s really going to be paying attention to what a teacher is practically mumbling? She has this quiet, scary voice. The second day of school she lectured us about not getting started on the stupid warmup she told us about the day before, because who’s gonna remember where on the board th stupid thing is, or that we’re supposed to do it, how we’re supposed to do it, etcetera. After we read the warmup, we didn’t get it. At all. It was very vague, made no sense to any of us. So someone asked. She told us the directions were there. Someone else said the instructions weren’t clear to her, so she…yeah. She talks to us like we’re dunces. It just drives me insane. Yesterday I asked about a question for a project we were working on, and she says it’s as clear as possible, and asks something, and this guy in our group answers. She starts going on about how someone in my group already knew, so I should’ve asked them first, blah blah blah. When she (finally) leaves, we all turn to him, and he goes, “I don’t know, I’m not on that question yet.” Today she lectured me about reading. And about asking another question.

Lunch is after Science, at 1:30 in the afternoon. So I’m always either in low blood sugar mode, where I’m all shakey and I can’t hold a pencil up straight, and I’m all jumpy, or I feel like I’ll puke if I don’t get something in my stomach. So that doesn’t make sense, but whatever. That’s how I get.

Geometry is next, and I don’t like shapes too much, but I get a highschool credit for that, too. Our group in there is insane. Yesterday they named one plane on a box Bob, and let him name our group, so we are now “Double 0 AB”. Yeah, don’t ask. Apparently eating the school lunch has something to do with the insaneness… Today was a bunch of jokes. Yeah…

So that’s my whole school day. It sucks.

It’s taken me five and a half hours to type all this. I get too distracted. And headaches get to me. Random, throbbing headaches.

I’m watching the last episode on the third disk of the seventh season of Gilmore Girls. Ahh, that’s cofusing. It’s sad. But Sookie makes Muffin bottom pies.

Life is perfect
Never better
Distance making the heart grow blind.

I forgot to have a lyric of the day yesterday. But before that, the lyrics I posted were:

We’re all looking for something to take away the pain.
We’re all looking for someone to take away the pain.
We’re all addicted to something that takes away the pain.

Those three lines came from the song Me and my Medication by Boys Like Girls.

This morning we went out to start school shopping. Ok, so we’re sorta late, seeing that we start school on Monday and Tuesday. As in tomorrow and the next day, lol.

We got everything we needed, amazingly. We also got some school clothes. We went to Kohls, because they had uniforms. They had these cute skirts, but the sizes were huge. I got a khaki one, and a navy one in size 10. Yes, size 10–in childrens. Wow. It fits perfectly, and it’s polyester so it won’t shrink. I’m usually a size 14 in childrens, or 0-3 in womens, so yeah. The only thing is they’re the tiniest bit too short, but it’s not like anyone would notice. Skirts and shorts can be up to three inches above the knee, and I honestly don’t know how many inches it is, but they also can’t be shorter than where your fingertips reach, and it’s lik half an inch too short. Oh well.

We went to the mall to see if they had the right colored polos at Aeropostale, and it just so happens they had a uniforms line, so that was easy.

When we got back home, I got everything together and in my Dooney. I’m still using the same bag since it still has to be clear, and that’s the cutest clear bag I can find, and I love it, lol. Some things on my school list I honestly don’t see why I need, examples: a stapler, a hole puncher, a compass, a protactor. Really, shouldn’t the classes supply the? I don’t know. I mean, most classrooms have a stapler and hole puncher. Then last year in Algebra, the teacher had a class set of compasses and protractors. I really can’t remember what else I got…oh yeah. I needed three binders, and 16 dividers. How does that work out? I just got two sets of 8, and put them in two of the binders. And we needed 3 one subject notebooks, and 1 three subject note book. I thought that was sorta funny.

Chantel’s list was funny, too. She only needs two pencils, and two pens, apparently.

I tried on one of my skirts with one of my shirts. I looked like a cute little school girl! I go, “I feel so Sailor Moon-ish!” I guess I have a Halloween costume now!

I started the layout for my new Twilight fansite. I’m totally against the movie, therefore it’s a site for the books only. I’m going to try and have it up this weekend.

What I’ve noticed about my sisters in the 11 and 9 years I’ve known them (aka, all their lives), is that they are the most annoying when they’re happy. They don’t get to an ecstatic point, exactly. When they are just a little bit happier than usual, they get to a point of insanity. They run around yelling things that don’t make sense. You have to tell them to do something at least seven times before they do it. Yes, they will acknowledge you, say “ok”, but then they don’t. They say whatever comes to mind, wherever we are, as loud as they want, without caring who hears. If it’s rude to someone near by, who cares? They don’t. Last but not least, they like to talk in the most random, annoying accents they possibly can to make themselves sound stupid. “We’re just playing!” they yell to anyone who tells them to stop. Well, if they haven’t noticed, it tends to give people headaches.

Tomorrow Chantel has her first day of school, and me and Ashley are home. I have cheerleading practice at 6. I’m still sore from the extreme round of “front, back, go”, plus dancing my butt off for the next hour and a half. I can’t but barely crawl up the stairs to my room, but I’m happy because at least I know I’ll be fit, and I love to cheer!

Yesterday I had cheerleading again. My goodness it’s…I can’t think of the right word…

Planks on Wednesday were alright, I mean, I could do it and I wasn’t about to die after. Yesterday the coach came up with new exercises. After stretching and all, we all had to sit on the ground, stretching our legs out as far as they would go. Then we had to lift them up using our ab muscles for 10 counts. Then we had to lift then drop, for two sets of ten. After that we did “front, back, go”, where the coach yells one of them randomly. When she says “front”, we have to do pushups until she yells something else. “Back” was flutter kicks, and at “go” we had to run around the circle. She gets faster and faster. I was about to collapse after she finally stopped, but we had to run a lap.

We worked on our competition cheer, which is no longer really a competition cheer since we dropped the competition, but oh well. Then we worked on our jumps (pike, hurdler, hurkey, and toe touch) and then three turning jumps. I can’t do a proper pike or toe touch, so that sucks. Hurdlers and hurkeys are easy, though.

The coach came up with a new dance, so taught it to us today. I like this one a lot better than the popping one, lol. We only had time to learn the first, like, four…yeah, four eight counts yesterday, so yeah. It’s to the song “Breaking Dishes” by Rihanna.

After practice, we went out to that Kim Bap place. I got the kimchi bokem bap again, which is like kimchi fried rice. I was finished a good twenty minutes before the rest of my family, and I ate every last piece of rice, lol. I was so starving after practice!

This morning we went out to the Seven Eleven to meet with the lady who called about Miss Teen Maryland USA, so we could volunteer for the whole “Happy Helpers for the Homeless” thing. It was so much fun! There was like fourty volunteers at least, and we all had jobs. I made sandwichs along with eleven other people. It was awesome.

After we had all the sandwiches made and everything, we took some to Glen Burnie to feed like thirty people there. Tomorrow they’re going to Baltimore, but I don’t think we’re going.

There was another girl there who’s going to be in the pageant. She had three gowns to show the lady, Mrs. Bobbi. They were pretty, but not anything I could picture myself wearing, lol. One was from an old pageant, a white dress her mom said they would sell to us for $60 because Mrs. Bobbi said something about blondes and white dresses…??? lol. I don’t know. The only problem is she’s a lot shorter than me, lol. Then she had one of her sister’s prom dresses, and a dress she used to wear for pageants when she was younger. Yeah, she’s been doing them since she was three, and she’s fifteen. Which means…twelve years?!?

I’ve been looking for a reasonably priced dress, and they said to look on formalkids.com. But I couldn’t really find any that I liked. Everything looks too prom-ish. I want to go scour thrift/vintage stores. There was this one gorgeous dress at Goodwill for $10 once, but it was gone before we left. Anyways it would’ve been too short. The dress has to reach the ground.

I’m working on reopening my Twilight fansite. I have an addiction with Edward again for some reason, so yeah. I’m working on a layout at the moment, and I still have all my pages saved, thank goodness!

So tomorrow I’ll probably be able to sleep in for once, and get some rest. Monday Chantel starts school because she’s a sixth grader now and sixth and ninth graders start school a day early for an orientation-type thing. I have cheerleading at 6. Then Tuesday me and Ashley start school. Wednesday-cheerleading, Friday-cheerleading, Saturday-game, Sunday-bakesale, Monday-school and cheerleading. Etcetera, except throwing in tumbling and gymnastics on Wednesdays and Thursdays. We don’t have a full game schedule yet. All the extra Saturdays and Sundays we’ll be volunteering, so I am now a very busy person. Oh yeah, I forgot about Chorus. I think I’m doing chorus again this year. If not I’ll have to do band or something, so yeah. Chorus is on Wednesdays and Thursdays, too, but right after school, thank goodness. But that only gives me five minutes to get to the gymnastics place…hmm…And I guess that completely rules out trying drama out again. I should write all this down somewhere..lol.

We’re all looking for something to take away the pain.
We’re all looking for someone to take away the pain.
We’re all addicted to something that takes away the pain.

My three lyric lines of the day. Have any idea what song they’re from?? The lines don’t appear in the song in that order, by the way. Those lines are scattered about the song.

So, whats up? Nothing much with me.

My new food addiction of the moment is this fried rice-type stuff I make. And cold bread with cold butter, lol. Yeah, I don’t like toast too much. It’s a long story, I basically got sick of it.

We had an appointment for uniform fittings today. Me and Chantel got our cheerleading uniforms, but they didn’t have a size small enough for Ashley today. They just ordered some more sizes, though, so it should be here in a couple weeks or so. The uniforms are pretty cute. I like the skirt, but the top is just sort of…plain, I guess. But there really wasn’t much they could do, since we’re not really cheering for a school, but Ft. Meade. So initials were out. They didn’t have a cougar emblem, so that was out too. It’s a darkish blue, and the top says “Ft. Meade” in this goldish color, and has some stripes at the top. The skirt has some pleats and stripes on one side. I like it, but the top is a little too big so Mom’s gonna pin it a bit. I’ll be sure to post pictures after our first game! I think that’ll be around Labor Day…

I got a news letter from the coach. We’re going to have a bake sale fundraiser. But we’re not allowed to bring homemade items, only individually packaged food from a grocery store, “due to people not being too good of cooks and making people sick”. Yes, that’s what the email said. So what’s the point of the bakesale? To show off the cheerleaders. We have to go around being cute! “The girls presence there is more essential than anything”. So yeah. Oh, and that email also said Saturday, the 30th would probably be the first game.

Today Chantel and Ashley had cheer practice. Mom told me to try and memorize everything they were learning, so I could help them. I pretty much did. Sooo much easier than all the popping I have to do, ;D During their dance, they have to do that whole “bend and snap” thing, like Legally Blonde. It’s so cute! All these 8, 9, 10 and 11 year olds singing, “Bend, snap, and shake it!“. That’s what the coaches told them, lol.

I was trying to vector an image of myself, and saw that my lips were in this perfect heart shape! Really! It’s sooo weird! Or is it? Is it normal, and I just never noticed it? I don’t know. But it’s weird to me. Click here for the picture.

Now I’m just sitting here, listening to “Learning to Fall” on my iPod speakers. I’ll probably go to sleep soon. ‘Night, ya’ll!

So I just got back from two hours of cheer practice about thirty minutes ago. Fun, but very tiring.

First we stretched in a circle for a while, then ran a lap. We started with some cheers that were confusing to learn because there was a lot of step and dance type stuff. I’m used to the whole sharp movements type cheer, so this was really hard. There’s this one I still can’t get because of the step. I mean, I can do it slow, but it goes by in two beats. It’s like stomp hit stomp clap hit. So yeah.

One cheer I actually got was the one that goes when we say blue, you say gold! blue, gold. blue, gold. when I say Fort Meade you say Cougars! … When I say number, you say one! … Fort Meade Cougars are number one! Fort Meade Cougars are number one!” Yeah, I like that one. Simple and easy to remember. But they don’t give you movements to do on that one, you just do whatever. So yeah.

When they moved on to their dance, someone was teaching me. I got the first eight counts, then I had to pop. Yeah, I can’t pop. Ehh. The first eight counts are pretty easy and I can do it right.

Then we did jumps, and everyone started leaving. I stayed for another thirty minutes, though, with two other girls and the coaches, so I could catch up. I pretty much did. They kept saying I was a real fast learner. But I guess not a real good rememberer, since I don’t remember ANYTHING but the whole “blue, gold!” and the first eight count! Me and my pathetic memory…

So, they cut the competition. Yes. They said we didn’t start early enough this year, and a lot of people haven’t been showing up enough, so there wasn’t enough time. They said we’d go to all the games, do something amazing at homecoming, and do whatever else we can. Someone yells, “I am NOT cheering at birthday parties!”

Now I’m very tired and I’m going to play some more guitar. That’s what I spent my time doing before cheer. After playing for a while and not being able to press the strings down anymore, I would numb my fingers with ice. Nice routine. I’ve almost got “Why Georgia” down, and I’m not giving up!

Ohemgee!! Guess what! Well, yesterday I applied online to compete in the 2009 Miss Teen Maryland USA competition. Within two weeks you’re supposed to get a call to have a phone-interview. Well, I got that phone call this evening around five! I’m so excited!!! The woman who called teaches at the high school on base here, so that was cool. She got us to volunteer for this charity called Happy Helpers for the Homeless that her daughter founded when she was 10. Yes, 10 years old! But I can’t wait!

So since the call, I’ve been goin around online looking at pageant gowns and stuff. I also have to find a cute solid-colored one piece swim suit and a suit for the interview. Shopping!

I also got signed up for cheerleading, it turns out they have a spot left for my age group. They started practice two weeks ago, but oh well. They practice tomorrow, though, and I can’t wait for that, either!

So, my non-school life is getting better. I start school in a week, and I can so totally wait. Oh well. I’m working on getting my uniform to look actually semi-cute, at least….

Wow, I forgot to explain my title. Again. So surprising, right?

Well, I looked up videos of the pageant to see what it’s like, and most of the videos are of Miss Teen South Carolina USA. So hilarious. Click here to watch it!

I’ve been having a hard time sleeping at night, so I’m up until 4AM every morning, and wake up at 1-3PM every afternoon. Well, yesterday I had to get up at 7:30 for church, and was asleep by 3:30, so I had four hours of sleep.

Mom had to work, so she got a bunch of bagels from this bagel place, and iced coffee for me and her. Then she took us to Esther’s house so we could go with them.

At church, this guy Richard said that I didn’t look like my sisters, and that I was the odd one. Apparently I only look half Korean, and more like Emily Browning than my sisters.

Our usual teacher for our class wasn’t there, so we had two other guys. It was fun.

After, we went out to the playground. All of a sudden, all the little kids run out, and I hear “O-bo-jo!’ over and over again, and one of the little twin boys are climbing onto my back. He wanted a piggy back ride…lol.

We went to Esther’s house again, and played outside for a while. Then we went to the park, and went back to Esther’s house. There was a bunch of kids there, so they all played different things every five minutes, while I played solitair on my iPod. Everyone would get into an arguement after a while, and decide to play something else. It was like a cycle.

At some point someone suggested we play Mafia. Yeah, not a real great idea when the oldest kids (other than me) are almost 6th graders, dealing with three elementary school kids and three toddlers. When we got our card, everyone would yell out, “Ahh, I’m nothing! Someone trade me!” or “I’m the police!”, etcetera. Then there’s the kids peaking, or talking to themselves while they’re picking who to kill. There’s the kids who are ghosts because they were killed, who will vote for who’s the killer. The funny thing about that was, everyone voting didn’t get it. They’re just like, “You died so you can’t vote,” and then they go on with voting, only half the people voting for the right person. Which was me, by the way.

Yeah, after a while they gave up.

I was emailing Ashley back when we finally left, and I found these articles about this high school in Massachusetts. Apparently their so-called pregnancy rate had grown like insane, and there were 17 sophmores, who got pregnant at around the same time. The principal somehow found out that they had a “pregnancy pact”, where these girls decided to all get pregnant and raise their babies together.

The second article went on to say how people were trying to figure out why the sudden raise in teen pregnancy, things like Bush using funds for that whole “No child left behind” thing instead of more important things, the school not distributing birth control pills, the school not funding abstinence programs, the school having an free onsite daycare for teen mothers, and the position of Mars. It also said that someone told them the girls were already pregnant, and the pact was to help each other raise the babies and finish school. They explained the difference between birth rates and pregnancy rates, and that it was really impossible to know the pregnancy rates. So since the disapproval of abortion is slowly overlapping the disapproval of teen parenting, more teens are deciding to have their babies.

The third article, to me, was about the principal basically doing damage control. He says his memory of how he found out about the pact was hazy. Whatever.

Yeah, I found that all out looking by looking for a quote from The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

Today I woke up like two hours ago, about 1:15. Since then I’ve done nothing but this, and ate. So now I’m off to wash, cut, and freeze some strawberries.

Well, I did not get the JBros CD yet, because they don’t seem to have it at the PX. Sucks, right?

Now I’m watching Greek on some website. I just finished the 20th episode, so two more to go. This one was hilarious. Kappa Tau didn’t have enough money for vodka for their party, so they used water for their jello shots. They were playing some game with it, and Beaver was chugging down all the shots. After, I wondered how he was able to have a (semi) coherent conversation with Rusty, then I remembered. Water jello shots.

Sorry for the extremely boring post. Tomorrow we’re going to church and stuff, so I’ll have something to blog about.

Yesterday.

Shots.

Yes. Yesterday I had to get five shots. Chantel too. Chicken Pox, HPV, the one with Tetnus and like three other things, and I don’t remember what else… I hate doctors. I know I should be thankful that we have doctors, but still. Mom says it’s because I was a premature baby by like a couple months, so I had some problems and had alot of bad experiences with doctors. All I know is that I hate them.

First off, we got to the place during lunch break, so they said to come back at 1, so we went to the golf course to hit some balls first. I actually didn’t suck.

We got stuck with this sort of obnoxious nurse. He just didn’t know how to shut his mouth. He said anything he thought, and went on and on. At one point Mom told him off, which was pretty funny.

I had to get my shots first. And yes, I did cry. I know, sorta pathetic. But I really, really hate needles. It didn’t hurt too much, exactly. I could just feel it break through my skin, which wasn’t that bad, but then I could feel it come out. I could just picture it in my mind, a needle just in my arm, and I felt sick.

Chantel went second, then Ashley, who only had to have two.

We were like extremely sore, but we went to golf 9 holes anyways xD We only went to five, because Mom had a meeting to go to, and we were tired and starving. It was fun! And again, I did’t suck; that much. Just with putting.

Me and Chantel were arguing on who gets to cook dinner, since Mom had to leave. I won, and made hashbrown-type-potatoes, eggs, and pancakes.

Today I…cleaned my room!!! Yeah, amazing.

Hopefully I’ll get the new JoBros CD today…

Now I’m watching Gilmore Girls. The one where Jess finds out he has to redo senior year, and Lorelai joins the booster club. Max has this whole “10 feet” thing; he thinks it’d be better for him and Lorelai to have 10 feet (aka a really tall basketball player) between them at all times. Then he decides it’d really be better to never see each other again…LOL.

I really, really can’t. So yeah.

Yesterday we watched the gymnastics part of the Olympics with China, the US, and Germany. I think it was yesterday, anyways.

We went swimming at 5, and we were the only ones there except for this old man. It was adult swim but the life guards let us in. They said to hurry up before it starts to rain, so we did. It would start sprinkling, then stop, over and over again. When we finally left, it started to thunder, so it was perfect timing.

I watched reruns of Gone Country. It was pretty hilarious. I also watched Mabe in America which was definitely hilarious.

This morning Mom went to sign us up for cheerleading and classes. They ran out of spots, so whatever. Mom volunteered to coach, though, so…

She signed us up for gymnastics and pom, aka cheerleading tumbling and jumps, etcetera. I can’t wait for lessons to start!

When she got back we woke up and she had to go to work. For the rest of the day we did nothing…I fixed the Game Cube so played DDR for a while, and worked out on the Bowflex.

We just ate dinner; nang myun. It’s like cold buckwheat noodles with this soup stuff with kimchi, sesamee seads, and I don’t know what else.. With hard boiled eggs and tomatoes.

Now I’m watching all the Greek episodes on Youtube because I’m bored. Sorry for the boring post…

Oh yeah, and I added pictures on my About page.

Last night I couldn’t sleep, this morning I woke up at every hour starting at 10. I finally stayed up at 1, came downstairs, turned on the computer, and did…nothing!

At about five, we were looking for something to do, and finally we just went out to Little Italy to eat. I had…four slices of bread first, then a lot of salad. By then I was full. But, then came out my fettuccine. Ok, so yesterday I said that I don’t like to get fettuccine anywhere because it’s never as good as my mom’s. But the exceptions to most my food rules is real Italian food. I mean, I’ll get it at Olive Garden and stuff, but it’s never really good, it’s just what I get, just because. I eat it, but…lol. I’m just weird. Then with salad, I always get ranch, and won’t eat it with anything else, unless we go to Little Italy. Then I love their house dressing.

For dessert I had some of my dad’s cheesecake and my mom’s tiramisu. I was so stuffed I was about to die. I could literally feel my stomach expanding. But I couldn’t stop eating! After going on and on, I’d take another big bite of the tiramisu, and Chantel would sit there mocking me.

On the way home we listened to Sugarland’s CD. Chantel was trying to play the drums to it using a pencil and a book, and getting on my last nerves. I said something that made my parents laugh like insane and tell me I should be a comedian, like Burnie Mac, since he died. Did you hear about that? He died this morning. My dad didn’t believe me when I told him and had to read the article himself.

And now we’re home. I’m going to work on this story I started this morning, and I have to feed the dog…

Oh yeah, can’t forget about my dream! It was soooo long. First I had a dream that I had a dream about eating at this buffet with Ashley (not my sister), Brittany and Rachel. We were sitting there, just talking and eating, when Wade comes out and starts talking and being nice…

Then I was telling my Hartwell friends about that dream in my dream. So weird, I know. So it was really confusing. Then I was sitting on some steps with Karen and Isaac and a couple other people about Maple Story.

After that I remember being at Kiwi’s house with Hank and Brittany while she was getting her braces on by a clown/orthodontist. It was like watching a show, because there was paint being thrown everywhere and stuff, then in the end her hair was pink. I guess he wasn’t really an orthodontist, just a clown, and when it was time for her braces, he had her bang her teeth on the table to straighten them…

I also remember getting ready for school in the morning at my grandma’s house in Georgia. At school, I remember eating lunch. They had M&M pudding, but I got a turkey hoagie, rice, and a piece of cantaloupe on a stick.

At one point me, my family and Kaytlin were at a museum, where they had Georgia license plates.

That’s all I remember right now, and I’ll probably have random flashbacks throughout the day…

edit// I’m so scatterbrained. I forgot this huge part of our trip to Baltimore. We were driving, and all of a sudden we see people randomly walking around in insane costumes. We were just pointing and laughing away in the car, and nobody else seemed amused. Maybe we’re just weird. But really! Some girl dressed in this white dress with green hair and a guy with chains around his neck, a guy in a sailor girl outfit, etcetera.

What is up with the Olympics?!? Right now we’re watching the beginning, and it’s these dancers in a black hole painting with their bodies, doing caligraphy and stuff. ?!?

So anyways, today my mom got home early and we went to the Youth services place to sign us up for Cheerleading. They told us we were in the wrong place, and where to go, so we went there, but apparently you have to be there by 1PM. ?!? So we’re going Monday morning because my mom has the morning off, and then we’re going to go golfing. Yay!

Then we ate at Ledo’s, but I couldn’t finish my veggie calzone, so ate half and took it home. They just got calamari, so we got that as an appetizer, but it was shaped as squid. How are you supposed to eat calamari shaped as squid?!? There were some in the ring shapes, but the squid just made me lose my appetite, so just ate the fries around it. I usually love calamari, and I have since forever, even after I found out what it was a couple years ago. I don’t know. Today just made me sick.

We took Emma to the fair, but the people at the front who sells tickets told us “No animals allowed.” No animals allowed. In a fair. That has pigs and rabbits and cows and goats and dogs. So my dad went home with Emma.

We went in the big building, looking for the Columbia Bank booth thing that my mom had to work for three hours; until 9. Well up front was a huge John Deere thing with everything John Deere. We just loved that. Me and Chantel got carried away, and I picked out at least five hats I loved. They literally had everything John Deere! Dog clothes, cat collars, baby hats, millions of toys, even more hats, real tractors, fake tractors, scooters, bikes, shirts, flash lights, I could go on and on…

When we finally found the booth (it was right next to the John Deere thing, by the way xD), we found a wheel. It was a spin the wheel thing where you get a prize. Fun. Me, Chantel and Ashley went out to get our mom something to drink. We went to the big stand that had huge signs up that said, “Coke sold here!” etcetera. They had Coke signs, you know the red and white stuff?? They asked what I would like, and they only had Pepsi. Goodness.

Then we went around that huge building, and entered contests. One for either a custom handmade dollhouse or an iPod Nano (and I’m getting the dollhouse, by the way), one for this awesome iPod player for our mom’s iPod because it’s a lot better than the one she has now, and one for $50 for gas.<
